CONFERENCE TOPICS

• Quality and sustainable development of the national economy and the business
• Management systems – implementation, efficient maintaining and improvement (quality, environment, occupational conditions, social responsibility, information security, food safety, education, tourism, public sector, integrated management systems). Applied approaches and activities (planning, targets identification, recording, statistical methods, analysis, risk management.
• People create quality (leadership, responsibility, motivation, qualification and education)
• Market pays for quality (quality economy, consumer satisfaction, innovations, business excellence, quality-price)
• National quality infrastructure – requirements and practices (metrology, standardisation, accreditation, market surveillance)

WORKING LANGUAGES

Bulgarian and English.

EXHIBITION

During the days of the conference an exhibition will be organized for presentation of products and activities of companies and organizations, with achievements in the area of management of quality, environment, health and safety, as well as consulting and certification companies, working in this field. The price per m²-150 EURO.

GENERAL INFORMATION

Applications for participation in the Conference should be received before 20^th October 2008. Speakers interested in submitting papers are kindly requested to send the full text of the paper by e-mail before 08^th October 2008, clearly indicating the selected topic, with a brief abstract. The name(s) of the speaker(s) and address should be given as well. All papers should be no more than 8 pages (A4), (figures and annexes including). The papers should have text part and not slides only.

The publication fee should be paid per paper.

The registration fee includes: participation in all sessions, visits of the exhibition, translation aids, proceedings of the conference, coffee-breaks and refreshments and official dinner on 12^th November (hotel Pliska).

Hotel Pliska offers a special package price for accommodation of the participants:
